1976 Camaro

Randy Zahm and Randall Day, Alfred State College Auto Body Repair Shop, Alfred, New York

We painted this Camaro with Sugar Plum Pearl Metallic single-stage urethane paint from Kirker. The paint is resting on PERFECT PRIME (2K Urethane primer surfacer) and is buried in ULTRA high-solids clear (EC300). The stripes were done black in the traditional Camaro layout. On the cowl induction hood, we masked off chevy bow-ties. A nice effect with the Sugar Plum Pearl paint is it turns a deep blue in the sun. This car turns a lot of heads going through town.

Note: The Alfred State College Auto Body Repair program is led by instructor James Gerbec.
