Custom green made from two parts Mack Green (UA-31263), 1 part Wimbledon White (UA-81500) and approx 1/8 part Super Jet Black
{UA-70330). Light color is Wimbledon White (UA-81500). Bumpers and formerly chrome parts are Silver Metallic
(UA-61231) topped with Matte Clear (EC-325). The Silver was mixed with ULTRA-LOCK Metallic Control Additive (UA-2400).

All bare metal covered with ENDURO PRIME epoxy primer and PERFECT PRIME 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer.
 
Three wet coats of each single-stage color, painted in shop (no paint booth), then color sanded and buffed (no flaws left from dust).

Pinstripes brushed between pinstripe masking tape with Sign Painters 1 Shot lettering enamel.

Hubcap emblem created in AutoCad, e-mailed to sign maker who cut out pattern on adhesive vinyl. Pattern was picked out of vinly in reverse to make stencil to brush with Sign Painters 1 Shot lettering enamel. Hubcaps were then baked in kitchen oven at 180 F for 1 hour and are like porcelain now.

All mechanicals updated.
93 Dodge Dakota front suspension and rear axle, converted to 5 lug.
95 Chevy 305 rebuilt with RV cam and Edlebrock carb and 200 4R trans
Vintage Air, Rostra Cruise, JVC Stereo with Polk speakers
Wheel Vintiques rims, police caps and trim rings
 
As an amatuer painter for 30 yrs I always had trouble making Metallics look right. The ULTRA-LOCK worked perfectly - no tiger stripes or mottling. Excellent products! Epoxy primer is sandable (unlike other brands that gum), urethane primer sands easily. Urethane top coat flows excellent (hides 220 dry sand marks).
